CITY OF LAKE JACKSON, TEXAS, THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OFFICIALLY FINDS AND DETERMINES THAT THE FOLLOWING VOTES WERE CAST AT SET ELECTION FOR POSITION ONE, POSITION THREE IN POSITION FIVE.

FOR POSITION ONE, MATTHEW BRODIS HAD A TOTAL OF 1,504 VOTES FOR POSITION THREE.

GARY HUNTER HAD A TOTAL OF 598 VOTES, RHONDA SETH, A TOTAL OF 1173.

POSITION NUMBER FIVE, MIKE WALZ HAD A TOTAL OF 672 VOTES, AND JOHN JB BAKER HAD A TOTAL OF 1058.

AND FURTHER, THE CITY COUNCIL OFFICIALLY FINDS AND DETERMINES THAT THE FOLLOWING VOTES WERE PASSED FOR PROPOSITION A, PROPOSITION A B, SHOULD THE CITY OF LAKE JACKSON REMOVE RABBITS FROM THE DEFINITION OF LESTOCK TO ALLOW RABBITS IN THE CITY LIMITS WITH PROHIBITIONS AGAINST BREEDING, SELLING, AND SLAUGHTERING THE RAPIDS.

A TOTAL OF 1161 VOTES FOR PROPOSITION A AND A TOTAL OF 6 51 AGAINST PROPOSITION A AND BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE JACKSON, TEXAS, THAT THE FOLLOWING PERSONS ARE HERE BY ELECTED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICES.

POSITION NUMBER ONE, MATTHEW BRODIS, POSITION NUMBER THREE, RHONDA, SETH, AND POSITION NUMBER FIVE, JOHN JB BAKER.

UM, OVER THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS, UH, WE'VE HAD NUMEROUS, UH, UH, CALLS FOR SERVICE, UH, FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, UH, AT THIS ADDRESS.

SHE HAD REACHED OUT TO THE POLICE CHIEF, UH, A COUPLE YEARS AGO AND SPOKE TO THE CHIEF, UM, SOMEWHERE DURING THE CONVERSATION, UH, A DISCUSSION OF WHAT MORE COULD THE POLICE DEPARTMENT DO, UH, TO TRY TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS. AND, UH, SECTION 1 25 OF THE PENAL CODE HAD COME UP AND MS. RUSSELL CAN, UH, TALK ABOUT THAT, AND CHIEF ASSISTANT, CHIEF LANGFORD.

AND AT THE TIME, UM, MY DISCUSSION WITH THE CHIEF, UH, THAT HE HAS BROUGHT, BROUGHT ME UP TO SPEED, WAS HE WAS LOOKING AT PURSUING THAT HE HAD TALKED TO THE CITY OF AUSTIN AND POSSIBLY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S, UH, OFFICE, BUT ROUGHLY IN APRIL OF 21, UM, A TENANT WAS EVICTED.

AND SO CALLS DID DROP OFF, AND I THINK THE CHIEF WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION OF THAT POSSIBLY THAT MAYBE THE ISSUE HAD BEEN RESOLVED.

UM, GOING BACK AND LOOKING AT, UH, THE CALL SHEET, THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL CALLS SINCE THAT, THAT 21, UH, AND THEN RECENTLY, REALLY WHY I BELIEVE IT'S COME BACK UP, THERE WAS A DRIVE-BY SHOOTING IN APRIL.

UM, THIS IS, UH, UH, A, I GUESS A, A POSSIBLE COURT, UH, PROHIBITION ON THE PROPERTY OF, OF ANYONE WHO COULD LIVE THERE FOR A YEAR OR UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCE OR A POSSIBLE SEIZURE.

WE'VE NEVER HAVE, HAVE DONE THAT FROM A CITY PERSPECTIVE.

AND, UH, HUSBAND, FATHER, GRANDFATHER, BROTHER, UH, FOOTBALL COACH.

AND HE IMPACTED A LOT OF, UH, STUDENTS LIVES IN OUR COMMUNITY, INCLUDING THIS ONE.

AND HE DIED UNEXPECTEDLY AT THE AGE OF 58.

HIS FUNERAL WAS ON SATURDAY, AND IT WAS EXTREMELY WELL ATTENDED.

UM, AND JUST WANTED HIM TO KNOW EVERYTH THINGS ABOUT, ALL RIGHT.
