UM, UH, OTHER, OTHER RESTRICTIONS WOULD INCLUDE, UH, YOUR INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENTS AND HOW THEY, UH, ARE CHANGING OVER TIME, AS WELL AS, UH, ANY LEGISLATIVE RESTRICTIONS THAT MIGHT COME ALONG.
UH, ANOTHER BIG WORRY CITY EMPLOYEE, UH, RECRUITMENT, UH, BIG WORRY WITH LONG-TERM WATER AVAILABILITY, UH, THE CONTINUED AFFORDABILITY TO LIVE IN THE CITY, AND THEN CONTINUING TO BE A SAFE COMMUNITY.
AND THEN FINALLY, HOMELESSNESS.

AND AS A, AND, AND SO TAKING THOSE BIG WORRIES, WHAT BIG IDEAS, UH, DID, DID YOU COME UP WITH? DO YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THOSE, THOSE ISSUES? SO THESE WERE, THESE WERE VERY, THIS WAS A VERY GOOD AND, AND INTERESTING DISCUSSION, AND I APPLAUD YOU FOR STEPPING OUT TO THINK ABOUT THOSE BIG ITEMS THAT WOULD CHANGE AND IF MAYBE AFFECT THE LEGACY OF THIS COMMUNITY.
AND HOW ARE WE GONNA ANTICIPATE THAT? HOW ARE YOU GONNA ANTICIPATE THAT? HOW ARE WE GONNA MOVE FORWARD THROUGH THAT? AND YOU IDENTIFIED IN THESE BIG IDEAS TO, TO, UH, ASSIST IN HOUSING AND COMMERCIAL REVITALIZATION.
UH, IDENTIFY PROGRAMS AND TOOLS, UH, THAT PROVIDE INCENTIVES FOR REVITALIZATION AND DETERMINE WHAT THOSE ARE AND DETERMINE IF THEY'RE GOOD FOR LAKE JACKSON.
AND THEN HOW TO IMPLEMENT THOSE IN THE FUTURE, UH, TO REMOVE ANY BARRIERS FROM A ZONING AND, AND REGULATORY PERSPECTIVE TO AN ACTIVE REV REVITALIZATION PROGRAM SO THAT WE DON'T JUST GET MORE OF THE SAME BECAUSE OF THE REGULATIONS THAT WE HAVE TO, AS EXAMPLES TO REVIEW THE PARKING REQUIREMENTS, REVIEW THE ZONING REQUIREMENTS, AND EVEN REVIEW DENSITY REQUIREMENTS TO SEE WHERE THOSE THINGS CAN ALL CHANGE IN ORDER TO, UH, IMPROVE THE MARKET ABILITY AND THE, AND THE MARKET FORCES THAT COME TO LOOK AT, UH, LAKE JACKSON.
AND THEN IDENTIFY, UH, WAYS TO MAINTAIN AFFORDABILITY IN THE COMMUNITY.
YOU ALSO, UH, LOOKED AT ENGAGING, UH, HOW YOU CAN ENGAGE WITH STATE AND LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS.
UH, THAT THAT MEANS NOT ONLY THE STATE LEGISLATURE, BUT YOUR NEIGHBORS AND CONTINUING TO ENGAGE, UH, WITH THE, WITH THE AREA CITIES, UH, IN THIS PARTICULAR PART OF THE COUNTY AND THROUGHOUT BRAZORIA AND NEIGHBORING COUNTIES, WHEN THE, UH, WHEN THE TIME COMES AND WITH OTHER CITIES THAT HAVE SIMILAR, UH, ISSUES LIKE THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENTS TO BE ABLE TO CON TO, TO WORK TOGETHER, TO LOOK AT AT MODEL AGREEMENTS AND OTHER KINDS OF THINGS THAT, THAT MAY BE INNOVATIVE IN SOME OTHER CITY THAT, OR THAT YOU MAY SHARE WITH SOME THAT ARE INNOVATIVE FOR YOU TO BECOME A STRONG VOICE, UH, IN LEGISLATIVE, UH, MATTERS AS YOU LOOK AND PROMOTE THE CITY'S LEGISLATIVE NEEDS.

BUT, BUT GET THAT INFORMATION OUT BEFORE OTHER PEOPLE DECIDE WHAT THE KEY ISSUES OUGHT TO BE.
